Ubisoft Announces New Assassin’s Creed Title – Ubisoft has just outlined plans for the next few years of the Assassin’s Creed title, which will straddle the action and RPG genres and the console, PC, and mobile markets. But before you try to play this new title. You should probably say goodbye to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
The game, now two years old, will receive its delivery in one final free DLC called The Final Chapter. Ubisoft is light on the details, which is probably for the best, but the trailers show story-driven epilogue to a saga instead of a battle-focused one.
New Assassin’s Creed Title
If combat is your thing in a game, then you’re going to love the next big installment in the franchise, Assassin’s Creed Mirage. Set two decades before Valhalla, Mirage lets you wield the sword of a novice assassin named Basim in 9th century Baghdad.
Ubisoft call it as a return to its roots, which is an adventure filled with classic combat and lore and less of the RPG elements found in recent Assassin’s Creed titles. The game is slated for next year and can be pre-ordered.
Ubisoft too announce that two other multi-platform Assassin’s Creed games are in development. Project Red is the long-awaited open world RPG set in Japan. This new game will have a typical Sakura country assassin, the ninja. Ubisoft Quebec, who last made Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, is leading the way.
And the last big game title called Project Hexe. The game has a witch theme and an occult setting during the era of witch hunting in eastern Europe. Ubisoft Montreal is handling development.
Ubisoft also has big plans for mobile. In conjunction with Tencent, the major shareholder, the publisher is developing a “AAA” title set in ancient China called Project Jade ( trailers ). Players will be able to customize their character and explore the Great Wall. Ubisoft says the game is “coming soon”.
