PUBG Mobile x Spider-Man: Gameplay
The game features Spider-Man himself on Erangel. Marvel’s much-loved superhero will make his first appearance once players board the plane. It definitely looks a lot like Jinx’s animation from last season. During the match, Spider-Man will appear at a particular location on the map to fight a giant robot. Players can travel to the location and loot special crates for Spider-Man as superpowers that will have them swinging and climbing on any roof instantly. All that said, the gameplay definitely feels like a flip from Arcane’s Mirror World event mode, which allowed players to respawn multiple times.
PUBG Mobile 1.8 update improvements and new features
First of all, the lobby screen UI is undergoing an overhaul where new options are also being implemented, such as unranked versions of all modes. Also, the option to select modes has been moved to the top section of the screen for better accessibility.
A new matchmaking system was introduced with the 1.8 updates that will limit players who are Diamond tier or higher to only match two tiers later. That means diamond players can be matched with players up to Ace level and not above. To match up with players who are on Ace Master, you need to maintain a minimum Crown level range. Players who are Platinum and below can be matched with each other without restrictions.
Other changes include patch note updates. The main gameplay change coming next season is the option to revive teammates underwater. Players will no longer face instant death after being thrown into the water. Even in a knocked out state, they can swim to shore alone or be carried by their teammates.
