God of War: Ghost of Sparta PPSSPP ISO Download – God of War: Ghost of Sparta is an action-adventure hack and slash video game developed by Ready at Dawn and published by Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE). The game was first released for the PlayStation Portable (PSP) handheld console on November 2, 2010.
Ghost of Sparta is the sixth episode in the God of War series and the fourth chronologically. Loosely based on Greek mythology, Ghost of Sparta is set in ancient Greece with revenge as its main motive. The player controls the protagonist Kratos, the God of War. Kratos is still haunted by visions of his mortal past and decides to explore his origins.
In Atlantis, he finds his mother Callisto who claims that her brother Deimos is still alive. Kratos travels to the Domain of Death to save his brother. After the initial hatred of Deimos, the brothers work together to fight the God of Death, Thanatos, Deimos’ captor.
The gameplay is similar to previous episodes and focuses on combo-based combat, which is achieved through the player’s primary weapon, Athena’s Blade and a secondary weapon acquired later in the game. The game features quick time sessions in which the player must complete various game controller actions in a timed sequence to defeat stronger enemies and bosses.
Up to three magical attacks and power-up abilities can be used as alternative battle options. Ghost of Sparta also features puzzle and platforming elements. The combat system is updated with 25 percent more gameplay than its PSP predecessor, God of War: Chains of Olympus.
Gameplay God of War: Ghost of Sparta PPSSPP

Gameplay in God of War: Ghost of Sparta is similar to the previous episode. This game is a third-person single-player video game viewed from a fixed camera perspective. Players control the character Kratos in hack and slash combo-based combat, platforming, and puzzle game elements, and fight enemies primarily derived from Greek mythology, including minotaurs, cyclopes, harpies, Gorgons, and satyrs.
The undead legionnaires, fierce ghouls, geryons, robots, Boreas beasts, and Triton warriors are influenced by mythology, but tailor-made for the game. The platform elements require the player to climb walls, jump over chasms, swing ropes and balance on blocks to progress through sections of the game.
Some of the puzzles are simple, such as moving boxes so players can use them to access paths that cannot be reached with normal jumps. But other puzzles are more complicated, such as finding multiple items in different areas of the game to open a single door. The game features new weapons, magical powers, and navigation abilities not present in previous games and is said to feature 25 percent more gameplay than God of War: Chain of Olympus.
Kratos’ primary weapon is the Blades of Athena, a pair of blades attached to chains that wrap around the character’s wrists and forearms. In gameplay, the blade can be swung offensively in various maneuvers. Later in the game, Kratos gains a new weapon, the Arms of Sparta, a spear and shield which offer alternative battle options (for example, Kratos can use the shield for defense and the spear for attack, such as throwing it at a distant target).
Kratos gains a special ability, namely Thera’s Bane, which infuses his sword with fire. Similar to the Rage ability in the previous game which is able to provide increased attack damage that is strong enough to penetrate enemy armor. As with the Item in God of War III, this ability automatically recharges itself (represented by the Fire meter), allowing further usage.
Both Arms of Sparta and Thera’s Bane are used to overcome environmental obstacles (for example, certain doors require the use of Thera’s Bane to open). Kratos learns to use up to three magical abilities, including the Eye of Atlantis, the Scourge of Erinys, and the Horn of Boreas, giving him various ways to attack and kill enemies. A relic of Poseidon’s Trident retained from previous episodes allowing him to breathe underwater, a very necessary ability since parts of the game require a long time there.
The combat system has been updated to allow Kratos to knock enemies to the ground as well as throw them and perform air-to-air attacks. A system called the Augmented Death System is also used, which can display special weapon animations and magical deaths.
The game’s challenge mode is called Challenge of God which features five Challenges of Ares, with an additional eight Challenges of Athena that can be unlocked. Challenge mode requires the player to complete a specific set of tasks (e.g. kill all enemies without being attacked).
A new mode exclusive to the game has been added called The Temple of Zeus, which allows players to sacrifice red orbs collected (both from in-game and challenge mode) to unlock additional features, such as Challenges of Athena, a bonus costume for Kratos, a behind-the-scenes video. screens, and concept art of characters and environments. Completing each difficulty level unlocks additional rewards. A Combat Arena (similar to the version in God of War III) allows players to select enemies and adjust the level of difficulty to improve their skills.
