Genshin Impact Version 2.0 launches Thunder Sojourn: miHoYo released the Genshin Impact version 2.0 update on July 21, 2021 and players are excited to explore the new Inazuma region. To access the Inazuma region, players must reach Adventure Rank 30 and complete Archon’s quests, ‘Autumn Winds, Scarlet Leaves’. Thunder Sojourn is the first event of the Genshin Impact version 2.0 update and will be based entirely on the Inazuma region. The minimum prerequisites for joining the event are the same as gaining full access to the Inazuma region, which includes completing various Archon Quests ‘Autumn Winds, Scarlet Leaves’ and ‘Ritou Escape Plan’. Thunder Sojourn will begin on July 22, 2021 and end on August 9, 2021.

Genshin Impact Version 2.0 launches Thunder Sojourn: The Thunder Sojourn event will be divided into 4 parts of different objectives and challenges. It focuses on Inazuman Alcor’s technical director, Muzhen, who needs the help of seasoned travelers to pursue an important goal. Here are the four acts of the event described below:
Genshin Impact Version 2.0 launches Thunder Sojourn:
Act 1: Bolt Blitz
This act will cover 2 days of the event, starting on July 22, 2021. Players must complete a total of six challenges and three new challenges that are unlocked each day to earn rewards such as Mora, Thunder Pellets, and Primogems. If travelers get their hands on Electrogranum, they can travel faster into the Thunder Balls and accelerate.
Act 2: Lightning Round
This act will start from July 24, 2021 and players must unleash thunder to defeat all enemies within the designated time period. Players will get Mora, Primogems, and Thunder Pellets as rewards.
Act 3: Lighting Fabric
This act will be available from July 27, 2021 and to unlock it, players must complete the mission ‘Crossing Storm Clouds’. This act is similar to the previous one, where players must defeat all their enemies within the designated time, but this time, players will use a new technique called Nimbus Gems. This feature allows players to get different benefits depending on who is affected by Electro.
Act 4: Automaton Front
The final act of Thunder Sojourn will begin on July 30, 2021. In this act, players will have to defeat a new enemy boss known as the Perpetual Mechanical Array. Players can use previous abilities like Nimbus Gems and Thunder Dwellings as long as the Perpetual Mechanical Array splits. Completing this challenge will earn players a large supply of Thunder Crystals which could then be redeemed in the Event Store.
